CONNIE LUCK

Managing Director

Connie Luck is a Managing Director at MAD Global Strategy, where she provides strategic counsel in public policy, communications, and politics to corporate, trade association, and nonprofit clients across the United States. Based in the firm’s Ohio office, Luck brings nearly two decades of experience in strategic communications, media relations, government relations, lobbying, and crisis management to MAD Global Strategy.

Prior to launching her own successful public affairs consulting firm—later acquired by MAD Global Strategy—Luck held senior roles in the private sector, state government, and on political campaigns. She successfully led a multi-state government affairs team responsible for legislative, regulatory, and executive advocacy, as well as community affairs, for a Fortune 100 telecommunications company. Luck has also served in senior communication roles for statewide and national political campaigns, as Director of Government Affairs for Ohio’s not-for-profit economic development organization, as Director of Government Affairs and Communication for Ohio’s executive healthcare office, and as Deputy Press Secretary to a former Ohio governor.

This depth and breadth of experience across multiple industries enables Luck to develop and execute comprehensive public affairs plans that integrate government affairs, strategic communications, community engagement, and political advocacy—ultimately maximizing positive impact for her clients.

Luck currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Community Housing Network, a permanent supportive housing nonprofit based in Columbus, Ohio, and is also an active member of St. Andrew Parish in Upper Arlington, Ohio. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University and resides in Upper Arlington with her husband, Adam, and their dog, Newman.
